The International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) is a global organisation comprising approximately 72 national associations of bariatric surgeons and integrated health professionals. The Obesity Surgery Society of India (OSSI) is one of these member societies, actively contributing to IFSO’s mission of uniting professionals involved in treating morbid obesity. This collaboration facilitates knowledge exchange, skill enhancement, and the development of best practices in bariatric and metabolic surgery. Notably, OSSI has negotiated with IFSO for a subsidised annual subscription which includes “Obesity Surgery” Journal subscription.
