OSSI endorsed/ affiliated programs enable centres to gain recognition for their scientific events like Conferences / CME’s / Workshops / Training / Webinars and Courses. These programs are written and owned by the primary team, but have the added benefit of a nationally recognised awarding organisation's stamp of approval. OSSI accreditation will ensure that the scientific content and training are of a high standard and learners will benefit from being awarded an OSSI Endorsed Certificate to recognise their educational achievements. The scientific contents can be developed and tailored to meet the organiser's requirements. OSSI team, if requested will advise and direct the organiser through the development process. Upon submission of final content, OSSI will accredit the program.

Whilst OSSI endorsed programs do not provide learners with a nationally recognised qualification, they are suitable for centres wishing to:

• Promote its credibility and enhance its courses by way of external quality assurance from OSSI
• Enable its successful learners to receive an achievement certificate from a nationally recognised Awarding Organisation
• Draw on the curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment expertise within the framework and guidelines formulated by OSSI
• Utilise the OSSi executive committee’s recommendation and support with the faculty for the event.
