CICO is an online certificate course conducted and certified by OSSI and endorsed by International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO).
Bariatric surgery has become the most accepted treatment of choice for morbid obesity. Each year, thousands of patients undergo the surgery and need preoperative screening, postoperative care and long-term follow-up and support. This includes weight loss monitoring, medical treatment of comorbidities, nutritional care, and psychological support. A holistic care like this requires dedicated physicians, surgeons, dieticians, and psychologists in addition to other specialists.

The course will have lectures by experts in their field, with stress on practical knowledge. It is endorsed by IFSO.
